I don’t exactly remember where C.R.E.A.M. came from. I think it was either Public Enemy or maybe N.W.A..( do I use a second period after the period in N.W.A.? I am going to, so you grammar whores get off of ass. It is my blog). C.R.E.A.M. stands for Cash Rules Everything Around Me.
Jamie and I do all our food prep on Sundays and typically that’s when we have some good conversations about food/nutrition/prep. She went to the grocery store to get food for us (the cashier remarked “is there anything that you didn’t get?”. Is that good? I don’t think so. Especially when it is only 3 people in our house!!!) and got some ice cream as our cheat meal for the week. Au Naturel. When she compared the ingredients between the All Natural Chocolate Ice Cream and the Regular Chocolate Ice Cream from the same manufacturer there were 4 in the natural and 15 in the regular!!!
Helloooooooo this is FU#$ING ICE CREAM PEOPLE!!! Milk, sugar, cream and cocoa!!! Why wouldn’t you want to make it out of all natural ingredients?
Well because it is cheaper to make it out of:
MILK, CREAM, SUGAR, COCONUT BASE(CORN SYRUP, WATER, SUGAR, COCONUT, MODIFIED CORN STARCH, NATURAL FLAVOR, SALT, XANTHAN GUM, GUAR GUM, CELLULOSE GUM, CITRIC ACID), PIE PIECES[CREAM CHEESE(MILK, CREAM, CHEESE CULTURE, SALT, PHOSPHORIC, LACTIC, AND ACETIC ACIDS, CAROB BEAN GUM), SUGAR, GRAHAM CRUMBS (WHEAT FLOUR, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, GRAHAM FLOUR, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED SOYBEAN AND/OR COTTONSEED OIL, SODIUM BICARBONATE, SALT, HONEY, ANNATTO, TUMERIC, VITAMIN A PALMITATE), EGGS, WATER, NONFAT MILK, COCONUT MILK, TOASTED COCONUT, DEXTROSE, BUTTER, GLYCERIN], CORN SYRUP, WHEY, NONFAT MILK, MONO & DIGLYCERIDES, GUAR GUM, CARRAGEENAN.
then milk, cream, sugar and/or cocoa?
C.R.E.A.M = cash rules everything around me. It is cheaper to make food from man made ingredients then all natural nature made ingredients. Craziness man, craziness.

You can not argue fat loss. You can’t argue weight off your body. I get people all the time who will try and argue the steps behind our nutrition system. They want to justify what they are doing, like that is going to make a difference. Fat loss is pretty simple, eat healthy food 90% of the time and eat consistently. Holy shit. That is tough. It is almost as if people think I control how much weight they lose or the fat fairy and I are in cahoots.
*ring ring*
Fat Fairy - “hello?”
Me - “Stan what’s up man? How are the kids?”
FF - “Hey Ben! Kids are good! Jimmy just said his first words! Transfat! I am such a happy fat fairy. Marsha is alot better since she has been coming to see you, her knees are not hurting anymore and her back is much stronger. She just has to get her diet in order and I can start actually doing my job to my wife.”
Me- “Whoa Stan the man! You are supposed to be doing your job every day to your wife!”
FF - “hahahahaha, too funny Ben. So what’s up man? Whose due for weight loss?”
Me - “Ok buddy, I need you to take 5 lbs off Latoya and add 3 lbs to Tanaka. Latoya has been real good with her eating and she is due for some weight loss. Tanaka just can’t seem to get enough protein in, she doesn’t want to have meat/fish/poultry so she is constantly eating yogurt and nuts.”
FF - “Aight man, consider it done”
Absolute absurdity if you think I can control your weight loss. I can tell YOU how to control your weight loss if you give me all the information I need. The fat fairy is not going to show up at your door with a bag of fat that he slaps on your ass and thighs. You can not argue him away from having you gain weight, because I didn’t say something 100% the way you wanted to hear it. Sorry it is not going to happen. So suck it up and accept responsibility for your mistakes and quit trying to figure out ways to cheat the system. My job is to show you what you do wrong with your diet, explain why that is wrong and explain to you how you can fix it. My job is not to “grade” your diet or “talk you down” from eating bad foods.
I educate, you act.

FYI. This information was just sent to me.
Hi Ben,
I hope you are well!
My husband loves “beer can” chicken. However since soda cans and their paint were never intended to be subjected to heat AND to be in contact with food, I would highly recommend spending a few dollars on a stainless stand: http://www.4thegrill.com/chickenstands.html
The ink on beverage cans is supposed to be edible since it can come in contact with your mouth—and supposedly the can itself doesn’t get to the temperature at which the ink was adhered to the metal. But given the pervasiveness of toxins in our food and in our environment, it might be best to err on the side of caution and use a non-painted stand.
Here is some information about the question:
