Question the Conventional

Do you feel good?

I heard somewhere that 85% of looking good is feeling good.   That got me thinking. How is it that certain people can get away with wearing REEEEEEDICulous outfits, while others can’t even wear an outfit with shoes that don’t match their belt.   Is it because that person who is wearing the bright yellow suit is color blind, or is it because  he feels good and thus can pull it off?

Do you have aches and pains that prevent you from feeling good?   My hips are killing me right now.   I tried a body combat class yesterday.   Fun class.   I can squat 500 lbs, but I can’t throw a kick above my knees.

I gotta say, I am not feeling too good right now, and I know I am not looking good.

Case in point,”Geez, you look tired.”   That’s what my CPA told me today.

He has never met me before.

How good do you feel?

I am back!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

It’s been a long time, bat boys and girls, but I am back.   I am going to try and be better about posting on the site.   I am not going to promise anything, but I will make an honest attempt to post more.   I will be starting a work out section soon so that you can see what I am doing in my work outs.   Also stay tuned because there will be a lot of changes taking place over the next several months.

But first, a realization.   It has occured to me that what my peers and fellow fitness professionals think of me is irrelevant.   I have been overly concerned with what a trainer thinks of me in Idaho or Missouri (not sure why I picked  those two states as my example    What the hell happens in Idaho?)  or any number of states.   What collegues think of me has no impact on the amount of money I make.   I care what my clients think of me.

Don’t get me wrong!    I plan on releasing E-books and online training manuals, but really, those aren’t going to pay the bills.   Furthermore, the chance that someone in my local area will find my website and seek me out is pretty small.   My current/future clients hear about me   from other current/past clients,   not because they did a google search for “kick ass trainers in the Hanove, NH area”.

I am pretty kick ass.
