funny thing happened to me today…
I had someone come into my LFS program (Leaner, Faster, Stronger…6 week program group personal training program which is very affordable and offered at various times throughout the day. Shameless plug iIknow) and after going through the first night and paying up front for the next session (highly recommended: I only take 8 people per time slot and spaces are filling up!) she asked me what my qualifications were.
I loved it! As a trainer you rarely get asked that. Maybe it is because people automatically assume that “all trainers are created equal” or that I couldn’t have gotten a job at the gym I work at unless I was highly qualified. Or, it could be that they read my bio posted at the trainer’’s desk. Who knows, but the bottom line is that this woman was insightful enough to want to know the difference between me and someone else.
If you’re thinking of getting a personal trainer make sure you sit down with them before you start training and address what your goals are.
